Welcome from our Head

I am proud to be able to introduce myself as Headteacher for St Andrew’s. Achieving full inclusivity, embracing all young people from any background, is a cornerstone to our Christian ethos which is at the centre of all we do - and something we have been praised for in our most recent Ofsted inspection and SIAMS report.
Having, again, outstripped our previous years outcomes and achieved the best results in the school's history in 2024, significantly outperforming national progress, we can say with total confidence that we are a community that continually strives for true excellence in all that we do. Academic excellence is delivered through love, accountability and mutual respect at St Andrew's. We do not compromise high educational standards, expectations and outcomes for a nurturing and loving environment; we achieve exceptional outcomes with our young people as a direct result of our inclusive approach.
Our school is a place in which students are known.
We believe that each individual is unique, and our staff work relentlessly to deliver personalised learning and care.
Our excellent pastoral system supports this, building compassionate and dynamic relationships with students, families and the wider community.
Every student who joins St Andrew’s is loved, and we believe it is an absolute privilege when a parent chooses to send their child to us. We will continuously strive to open the most opportunities, enable the most progress and deliver the best outcomes possible for every single child.
Every day is open day at St Andrew's. Please contact reception if you would like a tour of our school at work.
